Raw Seafoods announces the hiring of Chef Walter Zuromski - 03.22.17
Raw Seafoods, Inc. today announced the hiring of Chef Walter Zuromski to lead their culinary and innovation efforts as Director of Research and Development.
Chef Zuromski was most recently the President and Culinary Director of Chef Services Group, Inc., consulting for a wide variety of seafood companies and other clients. He is a former Executive Committee member and Founding member of the Research Chefs Association, where he was part of the team that spearheaded the development of the "Culinology" profession, the blending of food science with culinary arts. Zuromski is a certified culinary judge for the American Culinary Federation, and is also a member of the James Beard Foundation and the American Institute of Wine and Food. He is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and Johnson & Wales.
In his varied career, Chef Zuromski has served as an Executive Chef at multiple luxury hotels and restaurants. He was awarded “Boston Chef of the Year” by Chefs in America, and received a Gold Medal as a team member of the New England Culinary Olympic Team that competed and won in the Frankfurt, Germany International Culinary Olympics.
