Best Aquaculture Practices

Raw Seafoods is certified as a Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) purchaser and processor. The BAP standards address environmental and social responsibility, animal welfare, and food safety and traceability in a voluntary certification program for aquaculture facilities.  The BAP is a division of the Global Aquaculture Alliance.

Global Aquaculture Alliance

Raw Seafoods is a member of the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA).  The GAA is an international, non-profit trade organization dedicated to advancing environmentally and socially responsible aquaculture. Through the development of its BAP standards, the GAA has become the leading standards-setting organization for aquaculture seafood.

Global Standard for Food Safety

Raw Seafoods is certified as BRC - Grade AA for the following activities: Processing and packaging of fresh and frozen scallops, bacon wrapped scallops, frozen fish portions, marinated frozen fish portions, value added seafood products, fresh fish in poly-lined master case and fully cooked seafood.
