Best Aquaculture Practices
Raw Seafoods is certified as a Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) purchaser and processor. The BAP standards address environmental and social responsibility, animal welfare, and food safety and traceability in a voluntary certification program for aquaculture facilities. The BAP is a division of the Global Aquaculture Alliance.
Global Aquaculture Alliance
Raw Seafoods is a member of the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA). The GAA is an international, non-profit trade organization dedicated to advancing environmentally and socially responsible aquaculture. Through the development of its BAP standards, the GAA has become the leading standards-setting organization for aquaculture seafood.
Global Standard for Food Safety
Raw Seafoods is certified as BRC - Grade AA for the following activities: Processing and packaging of fresh and frozen scallops, bacon wrapped scallops, frozen fish portions, marinated frozen fish portions, value added seafood products, fresh fish in poly-lined master case and fully cooked seafood.

Raw Seafoods is a Marine Stewardship Council certified facility, and we procure MSC-certified raw material in a variety of species with full traceability to meet customer needs for sustainably sourced and certified seafood.

Raw Seafoods is a member of the American Scallops Association (ASA), a group focused on Scallop species development, promotion and communication.
Seafood Integrity - Better Seafood Board
Raw Seafoods is a member of the Better Seafood Board (BSB), whose members commit to abide by industry principles of economic integrity by not selling seafood that is short in weight or count or has the wrong name, and certifies that that its seafood products comply with all applicable regulations.
USDC Grade A
Raw Seafoods is certified as Grade A in the USDC's Quality Management Program.
